Anyway this morning, as part of our daily morning rutine, Carlos and I sat on our sofas after breakfast, each glued to our computer. But the best thing about being with a man who is as insightful and curious as Carlos is that he finds things I wouldn't even have thought of looking for.
It is true that with the marvellous invention of Internet any little thing you might persue takes you down a long winding road leading you to a million different places. Starting off with Breakbot's amazing video, which somehow steared him towards Os Mutantes, Spirit, and a dozen other incredible bands. So in our meandering path this morning it has taken us to re-listen to this amazing song which I had so long ago forgotten: Zager And Evans' In the Year 2525!

But perhaps the most amazing discovery is this:
This is Bon Scott's first band, The Valentines. We had first heard that song, My Peculiar Hole in the Sky, from Young brother's older brother, George Young who was in the amazing and undeniably cool Easybeats. But I had never in my life imagined Bon Scott could sing any other way than the one we have all heard and loved so much! Long live AC/DC because they give us something new every single day!
